FUNCTION AND ACTIVITIES OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SCHOOL
SCHOOL YEAR 2007-2008
The principal, prof. Domenico Altamura, co-ordinates and promotes all school activities and she draws up the school timetable and the comprehensive activities.
The principal receives people every day by appointment.
The Deputies, prof. Claudio Massa, prof. Ghini, prof. Ghini and prof.ssa Stefanelli , co-operate with the principal for all school activities.
They also substitute the principal in case of absence, and pupils and parents refer to them to justify the delays and the exit permits.
TEACHERS
Every class is co-ordinated by a teacher. The co-ordinator teachers have the following functions:
- they co-operate with the principal for the class management and solving matters;
- they preside over the parents' meetings and the elections of the class
representatives;
- they collect their colleagues' information about the class behaviour and results;
- they arrange the evaluation schedule and they help the pupils who are in difficulties
by planning afternoon courses;
- they are referents of their colleagues for all internal matters of the class;
- they weekly check the delays and they sign the class register;
- they allow Class meetings and they record them in the last page of the class
register;
- they check justifications and exit permits.
The co-ordinator teachers are in charge in order to co-ordinate and put into practice the activities, they are also members of the Commission for the P.O.F ( Plan of Education Activities).
They refer about the syllabuses of the various disciplines, they are the spokemen of their colleagues as far as the education activities are concerned.
They decide with the Librarian and with the technicians about the purchases of the books for the library and for the laboratory equipment.
STUDENTS
The students take part actively in the school activities with their Students' Committee
This organization is made up of two Representatives elected by each class and of the four Representatives elected by the School Assembly. Their task is to relate about the students' matters and to report the students' opinions and requests to the teachers.
PARENTS
The Parents' Committee gathers once every monthly, it takes part in the school activities by suggesting initiatives about education.
ADMINISTRATION AND JANITORS
This staff is co-ordinated by Ms Stefania Negrelli and their task is to look after the building and the students.
